During this <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Halloween" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Halloween</a> season, I'm seeing a lot of ads and recipes for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/candy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#candy</a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/sweets" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#sweets</a>. My all time favorite sweet is caramel. I just see or hear the word caramel and I start heading towards it. Something may be really good, but caramel makes it great. My favorite candy bar when I was a kid was <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BabyRuth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BabyRuth</a>. Still is. For my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/birthday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#birthday</a> my wife always makes me <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/carrotcake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#carrotcake</a> with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/creamcheese" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#creamcheese</a> frosting. With caramel syrup on top of course. Heaven.

Colin PurringtonI'm a huge fan of carrot cake and really wish restaurants and bakeries would stop ruining them with raisins and shredded coconut.
