@jnk@masto.es@arstechnica I have conflicting feelings about this. On one side: fuck AI companies and abusive bots DDOSing random websites and git repos. On the other, there are now hundreds of thousands, if not millions of computers wasting energy for literally nothing. Some generating shit, and others eating it. A lot of expensive nothing
