Fair warning, for my own sanity and timeline protection... if anyone posts multiple times in quick succession on the #FilmPhotography or #BelieveInFilm hashtags, AND uses more than ~ half a dozen hashtags. I'll be forced to mute them. I normally only mute for 24 hours, but could be longer. Pixelfed seems to be the main source of culprits, perhaps they've come from that Insta place where apparently multiple hashtags are A-ok. They are Z-crap for me! Sorry.

I've talked a bit on here lately about flash bulbs. This is why: I want to leverage the higher sync speeds of bulb flash on my Leicas (both IIIf and IIIg) to do some interesting skateboard photography.

This shot (of myself - I had to hand the camera to a friend!) uses one off-camera PF6B "flat peak" bulb at a higher shutter speed than I could manage with an electronic flash.

(Leica IIIf, 35mm Summaron, Fomapan 400 at 1/200 & f/5.6)

Midway Steak House

I posted the other two cheesesteak places in Seaside Heights yesterday, so I had to post this one today. The food columnist for the Newark Star-Ledger (R.I.P., the paper, not the columnist) says that those places are better than this one, even with their weird pizza bread rolls. I haven’t tried any of them. I really have to. Contax III, Carl Zeiss Biogon 21mm f/4.5, Kirkland Color 100 (probably Agfa), ECN-2 development.

A stand in the center of the boardwalk with yellow accents (the official color of cheesesteak stands in Seaside Heights). A rotating sign on the roof proclaims it the Midway Steak House. Other signs, surrounded by lights, give their offerings, Cold Lemonade Drinks (over a lemon), Hot Dogs, Meatballs, Cheese Steak, French Fries, Hamburgers, and Italian Sausage. There are a lot of other signs on the building.
