Well, pals, I spent the morning in jail. I breached the low-level security on the eastern perimeter. I was between the couch and the wall, headed for The Closet of Temptations when I was discovered. For Willow, his priority is getting healed. He has confirmed ear mites and ringworm, so that will have to be fully cleared up before he can get vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Even though Willow's ear looks bad (see the close-up!), he's been a really good boy and is showing signs of being a lovebug. He's very sweet and likes pets.

The vet said Peanut is a healthy boy with no concerns!! He got his first vaccination and will be going back in 3 weeks to get his second shot. Next up after that is to get him neutered and microchipped. He is showing signs of being a feisty little boy and he will need time to show his true self.

There were no issues with the procedure at all. After coming home and recovering, the Bud Boys are already fully back to their sassy selves, demanding snacks and attention. (Lupin had opinions, though, about the whole thing.)
Now that they’re neutered and microchipped, they will be available for adoption soon! Follow us or stay tuned to keep an eye out for when.

With Matilda doing well, I’m letting them out into more of the house again (no bedroom access yet though; I still need to be able to grab Matilda for her medicine 2x a day).
As a treat today I picked them some herbs from the garden - and they were much appreciated!

Our bunnies managed to open the door (2 latches!) at night but at the same time the door closed at the attempt to get back in after I arrived.
I am sure they are plotting a secret world domination plan or something and just playing dumb if I look.
The two fighting brothers are now really cool with each other, sleeping next to each other and one cleaning the fur of the other one

Do you live in CA, NV, AZ or anywhere nearby?? This situation has ESCALATED!!! We HAVE to get these bunnies to a temporary foster (1-3 months) for quarantine BY APRIL 30 otherwise their other option is to be put out on the streets!!!!

Two of our #bunniesofmastodon (3 neutered brothers) got mad at each other after 4 years of peace. They were ok-ish but had wounds that needed medical attention (lots of deep cuts/bite wounds, top skin layer ripped open over complete belly width, cut lip, ...). 500 bucks VET bill to stitch tohether bunnies... meh.
After 3 weeks of separation to heal (the 3rd one who is cool with both other bunnies got swapped every day) we put them in a temporary new to them space (garage floor). It took 5 days to find out who is the boss, but today it looks like they are cool again. Next they will move back into their protected outdoor area (24/7/365).
Any advice on keeping them peaceful?
Thumper is now with his new foster!! We are so happy and grateful for everyone who has been involved in rescuing him. Because of everyone involved, he is a happy and healthy bunny that was rescued off the streets.
