Me wondering what the track would sound like in a club, while listening on headphones with a pretty bad frequency response, for several minutes before remembering VLC has an equalizer and I can just fix it.

Fun fact: at least one thing I released in the #demoscene had way more bass than intended because I made it with these headphones. I don't remember which one though.

This simple CGA demo from the Code Masters circa 1992 is kinda cool.

The raster bars aren't in video memory. They're manipulating the background color on a per-scanline basis, and then doing a palette switch mid-frame.

The background color can be selected from any of the CGA's 16 colors, so they get this seemingly impossible numbers of colors on screen. Pretty cool.

I am trying to upload some more recent tracker modules to The Mod Archive and had to create an account. All my old modules going back to the 90s are on as Vim! so uploaded them as not having permission despite them being my tracks. I suspect there will be two Vims on there now.
