Since several people have requested it, I am implementing holding down a movement key to move continuously, so that the player does not need to repeatedly tap the key when running in a straight line. You can also hold down the optional clickable arrow buttons, and you can turn and sidestep while running. This was more complicated to implement than it appears and it took some trial and error to get it to feel right, but I think it is working pretty well now.
When water flows through the hoses and someone behind the wall presses on the hose with their foot and then lets go. Game dev is fun and Unreal Engine is my tool today that allows me to get this fun
Always some what scary to push a new app release to the App Store when it's been a while since the previous version and there are a fair deal of changes in terms of app and the server. I already merged in the server's dev branch and brought it live and so far everything seems ok, both the new and the old versions of the app seem happy. Now I just need to fix up some "what's new" notes and submit the app for review.
