She was supposed to meet with the daycare’s director at 9 a.m. to discuss the boy’s recent asthma diagnosis, she told CNN. But after learning the appointment would be canceled, she went to take her wristwatch to a local repair shop, just a few blocks away.

At 9:02 a.m., she was driving when she heard and felt a huge explosion. She jumped out of her truck and ran up the street, trying to make sense of the calamity unfolding downtown, she said. As clouds of thick smoke and dust began to part, the horror set in. The building that housed the daycare was now a mangled, catastrophic mess.<<

Acabo de escuchar a Roberto Arce decir en #noticiascuatro sobre el #atentado de #oklahoma de #1995 que "el camión explosivo provocó daños en un radio de 100000 m²" y que "el atacante era un veterano de la Guerra del Golfo de ideología extremista y antigubernamental".

Sobre lo primero, no hace falta mucho para entrever lo amarillento de la frase.
Sobre lo segundo, si el atacante hubiera sido comunista, Arce habría dicho "de ideología comunista. Si hubiera sido anarquista, Arce habría dicho "de ideología anarquista". Pero como no era ni una cosa ni la otra, Arce ha dicho "de ideología extremista y antigubernamental", sea lo que sea lo que eso significa.
