I’ve always had a thing for trolleys, probably a result of riding the route 23 streetcar down Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia in my youth. Sadly, SEPTA discontinued that trolley service and ripped up some of the tracks.
I had been trying to determine where the #interurban lines went through Lima, OH, but some of the paths didn't make sense. Until I found a map, which showed Lima had interurban service, but also a local #streetcar system that ran until the 1960s. In a city with a population of only ~50,000 people.

A TTC PCC streetcar heading east over the Don River at Queen and King street in Toronto, 46 years ago today on January 6th, 1979.
